Our People

Abby Frederick, “Investing time with her “little sister” Laila is truly a blessing. Abby is a “big sister” with the Columbia Northwest Chapter of Big Brothers Big Sisters. In addition, she volunteers with Rotary International and Planned Parenthood. Further, she brings her energy as a running buddy to Girls on the Run."

“Abby received her Bachelor of Science in Accounting in the winter of 2008 and began working at Johanna Klomann, CPA, PLLC.  Her path is to become licensed in 2017.

Bruce P. Frederick, CPA, . He is past President of the Rotary Club of Portland and past President of the Portland Rotary Charitable Trust. Further, Bruce is active with the Youth Exchange Committee, which provides young people with the opportunity to experience the cultures, problems and accomplishments of people in other countries. He has held the position of Secretary of Beta Nu Chapter of Phi Beta Pi Corporation since 1994. Phi Beta Pi is a non-profit corporation providing affordable housing to medical, dental, nursing and visiting students attending ohsu. He is on the Finance Committee of Childpeace Montessori Community, where his children attended school.

Bruce graduated from Oregon State University, with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business, in 1979. He currently advises small business clients and individuals in Property Management, Construction, Creative Services, Software Development, Professional Services, and Non-profit Organizations.

Pam Fields Pam was born in Portland, OR, and raised in Eugene.  She worked eleven years at the University of Oregon, and the lions share of her work background has been in Higher Education.  She is the past president of the Vineyard Valley Chapter of the American Business Women's Association.  Pam is very happy to be the newest member of the Bruce Frederick CPA working family and excited about her new career endeavor.

Our History

The original firm, Bruce P Frederick, CPA PC, began with general accounting services for businesses and individuals. This developed into strategic planning for individual wealth maintenance, minimization of tax liabilities for individuals and corporations, and auditing and consulting services. We believe in "old school" principles, but we also believe in keeping up with the needs of individuals and businesses in this rapidly changing world.
